The Hampton Bayside Bowls Club Community

Introduction

The Hampton Bayside Bowls Club (HBBC) has a 75-year history in Hampton as a bowling and community club serving residents of the Bayside community.

Our Vision

For Hampton Bayside Bowls Club to be a recreational, social and community centre of excellence.

Our Mission

To be a thriving bowls, social and community club attracting new members, providing a welcoming environment to all members that is fair and respectful both on and off the greens, and fulfilling to members recreational and social aspirations.

The HBBC community includes local social members, bowlers of all types, from barefoot to social to pennant.

It is also a meeting place for our sponsors, local Bayside businesses and the whole community, by offering a Bayside function venue that is easy to get to and park at.

HBBC is conveniently located in the heart of Hampton on the corner of Fewster and Earlsfield Roads. It’s within ten minutes walking distance of the Hampton Street shopping strip and train station. The local bus stop is just a 50 metre walk, making the Hampton Bowls Club a central location for everyone.

The club boasts 3 bowling greens, car parking for up to 120 cars and a clubhouse offering member and hospitality facilities.

The club has a strong community focus and a long history of supporting local not-for-profit organisations and businesses.

Local Hampton and Bayside residents make up about 90% of the memberships, with all age groups represented.

Members visit the club to catch up with friends, have a quiet drink, engage in lawn bowls at any level and utilise the venue for private functions and meetings. Guests are welcome at any time.

Come in and see what the club may have to offer you, have a bowl and meet our staff and members who will always make you welcome.
